So overall I am satisfied with these results. I had one hiccup on staying under 2200 calories this week and that was one night toward the beginning I was just craving pizza so we ordered Papa Johns. The next day I had gained a few pounds due to the sodium and carbs that late at night (I’ll write about that stuff at a later date). Something I believe that is helping is work just started a new 3 course meal that is under 450 calories. I’ve done the math and it definitely is under 450 calories in all of it’s combinations that are offered. I’ve had it every day since we’ve started to offer it and it makes me feel full and even after going to the gym I’m not famished immediately afterwards (although I do make sure to eat something within 30 minutes after the gym). I’m going to start eating that as my lunch at work to help me with the calorie counting for now and when we reach the next 90 days (depending on the results) I will move to a more specific diet plan that will incorporate more than just calorie counting… I’ll have to keep track of protein intake, carb intake, and fat intake.
So all in all I just need to keep on this path even if there is setbacks. I proved this week that one set back does not mean you need to give up for the week.
I’ll be doing a lot more updates about fitness and what I’m doing on twitter @isaaklown and I’ll try to use the hashtag #iaintevahgonnastop . If anybody reading this wants to post about their journey, and it doesn’t just have to be weight loss, please use this tag. I’ll be interested to see how many people use it so we can reach out to each other and motivate and inspire as needed. We will all need motivation and inspiration to help with our perspiration!
Well it is officially my rest/cheat day and I plan on taking advantage of this! I’m not going to go overboard though but this is going to nice! I hope everyone has a great day and will continue to read this blog. I’m hoping that either tonight or tomorrow I will put up another post that will tackle the toughest question that you will face if you are wanting to go on a journey like this: Why?
